OUTLAW CLASS LAUNCHED.
As from today, The Sport Compact Drivers Commitee has unanimously agreed on the formation and creation of a new class for Sport Compact, named "Outlaw"

Competitors already know that the series was created with a come with what you've got principle. But lately, times and speeds have improved so much that we now need to look at introducing safer measures and proper classing whereby everyone can now stand a chance of racing and competing against the best in their class. Hence, OUTLAW!

Please review the rules and regulation for OUTLAW very carefully. We wouldn't want competitors arriving at Sport Compact thinking they'd be classed in 4BF or 4BR for example, when in fact they will be classed in OUTLAW, or vice-versa.

DRIVERS CHOOSE COMMITTEE.
At a driver’s function held last month at Kyalami,
approximately 100 drivers of Sport Compact were given the opportunity to air their views regarding the way forward for the series and also voted for a new Sport Compact Committee which would represent the drivers and the series
on a more professional level.

Drivers are now urged to join the the new Sport Compact Club by phoning (011) 704 - 7107. Not only will you be recieving personalised technical assistance regarding the Sport Compact rules and regulations but you will also be receiving specials from the series’ sponsors, Sport Compact affiliated stickers as well as giving you the opportunity in giving and receiving feedback for the series and the way forward. If you’ve ever raced at a Sport Compact event, now is the time to sign up.

SPONSORS COME TO THE PARTY.
This years Sport Compact will have four sponsors looking after the Series. Autozone, Turbo and NOS Connextion, Dicktator and Speed and Sound Magazine have contributed to be part of this year’s spectacle. If your company would like to be part of the sponsorship programme, then please call (011) 704 - 7107.
